Introduction

The defining choice in this camera module is the pair of images an inspection instrument can show. One forward lens and two side lenses provide three observation directions, with simultaneous output available from any two cameras.

 

The 1MP CMOS imaging system provides 1280 × 720 images at 18fps. A 76° diagonal field of view and 5cm best-focus distance support close observation of nearby surfaces. The operator's task may use a forward-and-side pair for context or the two side views to compare adjacent areas.

 

The 7.9mm camera head integrates 6 front LEDs and 1 LED at each side lens. A Steel Shell and IP67 camera-head protection support bringing the imaging assembly into dusty or wet inspection locations, with USB2.0 connecting the module to the instrument.

• Select the Two Views That Need Comparison

Any 2 camera outputs can be displayed simultaneously. This lets the inspection workflow choose the relevant relationship between the area ahead and the surfaces around the head.

6 white SMD LEDs light the forward area. Each of the two side lenses has 1 white LED, placing illumination beside the surface being observed.

 

• IP67 Camera Head with a Steel Shell

The protected 7.9mm integrated head brings the three lenses and their lighting into one assembly. IP67 protection applies to the camera head for dusty or wet observation locations.

 

• Defined Close-Focus Optics

The Fixed Focus lenses use a 5cm best-focus distance and D76° field of view. These provide a starting point for matching the head's position to the nearby inspection surfaces.

• Pipe and Channel Surface Comparison

Keep a forward and side image visible when a wall observation needs context from the route ahead. Select the two side views when the surrounding surfaces are the main comparison.

 

• Mechanical Assembly Inspection

Observe facing and side surfaces within a cavity to examine visible joints or assembly conditions. The available camera pairs let the instrument present the relevant two directions together.

 

• Close Cavity-Wall Examination

Use the side viewpoints to examine different areas around the camera head. Local LEDs support nearby surfaces, while the choice of camera pair follows the part of the cavity being inspected.
