Introduction

This camera module suits an inspection sequence that examines the forward area and then the surrounding surfaces individually. It switches among three camera images, keeping one view on screen at a time so the selected observation receives the operator's attention.

 

Its 1MP CMOS imaging system provides 1280 × 720 video at 15fps. The forward lens focuses best at 5cm, side lens B at 4cm and side lens C at 3cm, with a 76° diagonal field of view. These fixed-focus positions provide different close observation distances around the head.

 

8 front LEDs and 1 LED at each side lens illuminate the respective surfaces. The 7.9mm integrated head combines a Steel Shell and IP67 camera-head protection for dusty or wet inspection locations, with a USB2.0 interface for the instrument.

• Three Directions for Sequential Examination

Switch among the forward lens and two side lenses, displaying one image at a time. This supports a workflow that examines each surface in turn.

 

• HD Imaging with Camera-Head Protection

720P video at 15fps provides an HD image for close visual checks. The IP67 head and Steel Shell support bringing the optics and lighting to dusty or wet observation locations.

 

• Different Best-Focus Positions

The forward, side B and side C lenses focus best at 5cm, 4cm and 3cm respectively. The selected lens can follow the surface position relevant to that inspection step.

 

• Lighting for Each Observation Direction

8 white SMD LEDs illuminate the forward view. Each side lens has 1 white LED for its nearby surface, supporting observation inside cavities with little ambient light.

• Sequential Pipe-Wall Inspection

Inspect the area ahead and then move to the side views to examine nearby wall surfaces. The different best-focus positions support close observation at the distances relevant to each lens.

 

• Mechanical Cavity Surface Checks

Examine facing and adjacent surfaces individually. The single displayed image lets the inspection tool concentrate on the selected view, with local lighting at that position.

 

• Internal Assembly Review

Use the three viewpoints to check visible surfaces and assembly conditions in sequence. The protected camera head brings HD observation into the inspection location.
