Introduction:

This is a low-cost 5MP OmniVision OV5640 CMOS 24Pin DVP Camera Module, built on the OmniVision OV5640 color image sensor. Its core adopts the mature, low-cost solution of "OV5640 sensor + 24Pin DVP interface". Leveraging OmniVision's technical expertise in the image sensor field, along with the high compatibility and low development threshold of the DVP interface, it has become a preferred choice for mass application scenarios that are cost-sensitive yet demand stable imaging performance. This solution has undergone long-term market validation: while ensuring basic imaging performance, it effectively controls the overall module cost, making it suitable for image acquisition needs of various entry-to-middle-level electronic devices.​

 

The module features 5MP pixels with a resolution of 2592×1944. The sensor size is 1/4 inch, and the pixel size is 1.4μm×1.4μm, enabling it to capture object details clearly and output delicate images under natural light. It supports multi-resolution and high-frame-rate output, including 1080P (1920×1080) @30fps, 720P (1280×720) @60fps, and VGA (640×480) @90fps. This not only meets the needs of high-definition video recording but also handles fast image capture in dynamic scenarios to avoid motion blur.

The module adopts a fixed-focus design with a focusing distance of 45cm and a focusing range covering 30cm to infinity (30cm-∞), suitable for most short-distance and long-distance imaging scenarios.
