48MP UHD IMX586 Sensor CSI -2 Interface Camera Module

This is a 48MP UHD IMX586 Sensor CSI -2 Interface Camera Module, features the Sony IMX586 sensor, which boasts a 1/2-inch optical format and 48-megapixel resolution, transmitting data via a MIPI CSI-2 interface. Custom-developed to meet the sensor's electrical and mechanical specifications, the module incorporates three independent precision power supply pins (AVDD 2.8V, DVDD 1.1V, AFVDD 1.8V) to isolate interference and enhance power stability. Image data is transmitted via MDP/MDN differential signals. An I²C control interface (write 0x20 / read 0x21) enables sensor configuration, OTP reading, and PDAF calibration. It also integrates reset, clock, and sync signals, enabling high-resolution imaging output without external circuitry. PVDD and other pins are NC (non-functional), reserved for future functionality expansion. Mechanically, all critical module dimensions are tolerance-calibrated. The optical reference plane height differs between standard photography (6.05±0.15mm) and macro mode (6.15±0.15mm) to accommodate the sensor's dual-focus requirements. The motor body height of 3.9±0.1mm enables high-precision focusing control. The substrate employs a rigid-flex PCB + adhesive-free rolled FPC combination, balancing impedance stability and flexible deployment. All unmarked tolerances are unified at ±0.1mm to ensure optical consistency. For electrical protection, the module features double-sided electromagnetic shielding film applied to the FPC bend area, paired with exposed copper grounding to suppress signal interference and guarantee MIPI transmission quality. Critical joints are reinforced with structural adhesive to enhance vibration resistance and bending endurance. The production process requires OTP programming to write calibration data, ensuring imaging and focusing accuracy. Sensor driver firmware is configured and adapted by the host platform. This module serves as a highly integrated system-level driver carrier. Through coordinated design across power supply, signal processing, and optical dimensions, it fully unleashes the imaging capabilities of the IMX586 sensor. It is suitable for imaging applications in consumer electronics, portable devices, industrial equipment, and automotive systems where 48MP image quality, miniaturization, and reliability are essential requirements.
