The current consumption required by the camera module sensors and external circuits may vary greatly between different sensors and any additional external devices. Generally, the lower imager guide requires a relatively large current, while the larger power supply voltage requires a smaller current.
As the imaging of the camera module is related to the power supply, it will affect the performance and image quality of the camera module. Therefore, when the camera module manufacturer designs the camera module, the power supply needs to be carefully considered, because the camera module needs the power supply with no interference and low noise.
Some people may propose to use a low voltage difference regulator (LDO) for the power supply of each camera module. However, it is not feasible to carry out the design under the constraint of output power cost budget.
