UC930 Vs CMU970 – Which Camera Module Tester To Choose

1. First, Understand What These Testers Do Not Do
These are production test boards, not ISP tuning boards. They output RAW images – good for defect detection and sharpness calculation, not for final image quality tuning.

2. UC930 – For Standard D-PHY Modules (≤64MP)

When to choose UC930: You are testing standard high-resolution modules (up to 64MP) and do not need C-PHY support.

3. CMU970 – For High-Pixel and C-PHY Modules

Supports higher pixel counts (no fixed upper limit stated)
