Introducing Our New Thermal Imaging Camera Module Series

New Thermal Imaging Camera Module Series Coming Soon

SincereFirst is expanding its thermal imaging product line with a new thermal imaging camera module series designed for OEM projects that need compact integration, real-time thermal observation, and practical deployment flexibility. This series is intended for applications such as industrial monitoring, temperature-related systems, security observation, and embedded thermal imaging devices. The current direction combines compact structure, low power consumption, and 50Hz frame-rate support, making it suitable for product teams that need stable thermal imaging in both fixed and mobile use environments.

Two Initial Models, Two Different Deployment Priorities

The first two models in the series are SF-YUM256 and SF-SLYM640. While both belong to the same thermal imaging product direction, they are designed for different image-detail and movement-speed priorities.

UART thermal imaging module

SF-YUM256 is a practical choice for projects that need a compact thermal imaging USB 2.0 module with 256 × 192 resolution and 50Hz frame rate. It supports 2× electronic zoom and is better suited to static or low-speed scenarios, such as fixed-point warehouse monitoring and other stable observation tasks. Its standard temperature measurement range is -20°C to 150°C. The module comes with a standard metal housing, includes a 9mm lens as standard, and supports an optional 35mm lens. It can output through UART or USB 2.0, making it suitable for compact systems that need straightforward thermal imaging integration. The broader YUM series also emphasizes compact size, low power consumption, and support for thermal observation and temperature-related applications.

SF-SLYM640 is positioned for projects that need higher thermal image detail and stronger performance in faster-moving scenarios. With 640 × 512 resolution, 50Hz frame rate, and 8× electronic zoom, it is more suitable for applications such as UAV-based thermal imaging, especially where movement speed is higher and clearer long-distance thermal detail is needed. Its temperature measurement range extends to -20°C to 550°C, making it more suitable for higher-range thermal monitoring tasks. The module supports 9mm or 35mm lens options, uses a standard metal housing, and can output through UART or USB 2.0, making it a strong fit for higher-performance thermal observation and temperature-related OEM systems. The SLYM640 core direction also emphasizes compact size, lightweight design, and support for multiple communication and video output paths.

Designed for Different Thermal Imaging Use Cases

As a series, these thermal imaging modules are designed to give OEM customers more flexibility in balancing image detail, deployment environment, target movement speed, and integration requirements.

For projects that prioritize compact deployment and stable observation in relatively fixed scenes, the 256-resolution direction offers a practical starting point. For projects that require higher thermal detail and stronger performance in faster-moving environments, the 640-resolution direction provides a more advanced option.

This makes the series relevant to scenarios such as:

  • fixed-point thermal monitoring
  • warehouse and facility observation
  • industrial temperature-related applications
  • embedded thermal imaging systems
  • UAV thermal imaging and higher-speed mobile observation

More Models Will Be Added to the Series

This thermal imaging camera module series will continue to expand.

SincereFirst plans to add more products in this category over time, giving customers a broader range of choices across different resolution levels, lens configurations, and deployment priorities. The goal is to build a clearer thermal imaging product path for customers who need anything from compact entry-level thermal observation to higher-performance embedded thermal imaging solutions.
